Race for the Cure events, resources
Kathy Giller is co-chair of the Akron Race for the Cure that will be held July 28 at Firestone Stadium and Firestone Country Club.
The Giller team will hold a fundraiser for the 60-mile, Komen 3-Day walk from 4 to 8:30 p.m. May 5 at the Rail restaurant at 3265 West Market St., Fairlawn. Tickets for the fundraiser are $75 and reservations can be made by calling the restaurant at 330-864-7245. The walk will occur Aug 2-4 in Cleveland.
The Pinktacular Gala Dinner will be held May 18 at the Western Reserve Historical Society’s Crawford and Reinberger galleries in Cleveland.
The Cleveland Race for the Cure is Sept. 21.
