Hudson Wine Festival — 4-9 p.m. Friday and 1-9 p.m. Saturday, along Village Way in the First & Main Shopping district in Hudson. More than 150 wines as well as craft beers. Music, food, artists and vendors. $20 in advance, $25 at the door, includes 10 tastings and a souvenir wine glass. Additional tastings are 10 for $5 at the event. Proceeds benefit PAWS-ibilities: Humane Society of Greater Akron. Stewart’s Caring Place’s Butterfly Gala — 5 p.m. at a private residence. Guests will park at Old Trail School, 2315 Ira Road, Akron, shuttling to the event.
