In recognition of the Akron Marathon’s 10th running, each day of coverage will include a Top 10 list. Today, we list the top cities outside Ohio represented by runners in this year’s race. They are:
1. Pittsburgh — 75.
2. New York City (14) and Brooklyn (9) — 23.
3. Chicago — 20.
4. Erie, Pa. — 15.
5. Washington, D.C. — 13.
6. Hermitage, Pa. — 10.
7. Alexandria, Va. — 9.
8-10. Indianapolis; Lexington, Ky.; Novi, Mich. — 8 each.
