Traveling program fosters hands-on learning

Sydney Jones, a seventh grade student at Buchtel CLC is used as an electricity conductor to light up lights during an experiment using a Tesla coil inside the Mobile Discovery Van on Thursday in Akron, Ohio. The van, which is from the National Science Center, is an extendable 18-wheeler that holds 35-40 students at a time and allows them to interact with hands-on science lessons.
