EARLY VOTING HOURS
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, Oct. 2 to Oct. 19.
Exceptions: Closed Oct. 8 and open until 9 p.m. Oct. 9 (registration deadline).
8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, Oct. 22 to Nov. 1.
8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2.
WEEKEND HOURS
Summit: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3; noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4; and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5.
Wayne: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5.
Note: These are the hours approved by the boards. A lawsuit is pending in federal appeals court about the hours for in-person early voting on the three days before the election. The outcome will determine whether there are hours and what they will be for all boards.
DEADLINES
Noon Nov. 3 — Mail-in absentee requests must be received by boards, though elections officials urge voters to submit them sooner.
Nov. 5 — Mail-in ballots must be postmarked.
Nov. 6 — Ballots may be dropped off at elections boards until the polls close. Ballots may not be dropped off at polling places.
