Police raided an Akron residence Tuesday and arrested a man on methamphetamine manufacturing charges.
Todd E. Ritterbeck, 38, was charged with illegal manufacturing of the drug after police searched his Pauline Avenue home.
Authorities obtained the search warrant following a complaint. Police said they recovered chemicals, acids, iodine, tubing, and other equipment commonly used to manufacture methamphetamines in Ritterbeck's garage. They also seized the finished product of meth, police said.
Ritterbeck was charged with illegal manufacturing of methamphetamines, illegal assembly of chemicals, possession of methamphetamines, possession of criminal tools and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was booked into the Summit County Jail.
