WHEELING, W.VA.: An Ohio County health official says about 100 apartments at a Wheeling complex are infested with bedbugs.
Ohio County Health Department sanitarian Chuck Fisher says Woda Group LLC of Westerville, Ohio, was cited in June for violations at Providence Greene.
He said Wednesday the situation is escalating, but Woda Group is complying with requirements to assess and start correcting the problem.
Fisher says the health department has no plans to file charges against the company.
About 20 apartments have been treated by an extermination service. Fisher says he believes the company is required by law only to treat common areas.
Health department Administrator Howard Gamble calls bedbugs a public health nuisance and a psychological disaster for the people who are affected.

"Don't let the bedbugs bite". . . . with apologies to all Moms everywhere. . . .
Whewwwwww...for a minute when I 1st saw the headline I thought it was Akron and The Don would take the hit. As it stands it's West Virgina so it's all Bush's fault.
WOW. . .
I guess none of you chronic complainers can find a reason to blame this on Don or Barrack.
They will find a way, they always do especially OldManGrump!!
i'm itching all over!
Didn't they have the same problem in Akron with one of the government entities that rents out housing to low class people? I do believe so.
low income also. I am brain dead today.
To: ISaidSo
You must mean "lower income people". I know allot of low class people who wouldn't qualify for government housing. They have too much money.
What happened to MY comment?
LOL@ Pacman,,I actually laughed out loud on that one..Thanks:-)
