FAIRBURN, GA.: Authorities say a 41-year-old Ohio man in the Atlanta area for his father's funeral has been shot to death by a carjacker.

Police said Terrence Harris of Shaker Heights was washing his late father's car at a car wash in Fairburn, south of Atlanta, when a man shot him about 4:30 p.m. Thursday and took the vehicle.

Acting on a tip, authorities found the car early this morning in Coweta County, west of Fairburn.

Police said the suspect shot Harris and threw his body out of the car before driving out of the car wash.
