AKRON: A concert to raise awareness and benefit an organization that works to end human sex trafficking and exploitation is at 9 p.m. Friday at Musica, 51 E. Market St.
The concert, called Get Free, will feature performances by SLAVE, NO LIMITS, Lunaric and B. God.
The event is sponsored by Cumulus Entertainment and Gabrielle O’Neal, an Archbishop Hoban High School graduate and student at Stark State College.
Tickets are $8 at the door.
Proceeds will benefit Love146 (www.love146.org), a Connecticut-based nonprofit organization that works to eliminate child sex trafficking through education and the care of survivors.
BATH TWP.: The Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Wildlife is holding a public information program on coyotes on Saturday.
It will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Bath Church, 3980 W. Bath Road.
Topics to be covered include coyote biology, ecology, population trends and current status, coyote myths and what to do if you encounter a coyote.
The program is for ages 16 and older.
The event is free, but advance sign-up is requested.

AKRON: A fundraiser for Judge Mary Margaret Rowland will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Bricco, 1 W. Exchange St. in Akron.
Rowland is running for her second term on the Court of Common Pleas for Summit County.
The suggested donation is $125.

AKRON: Summit County Clerk of Courts Daniel Horrigan will host his seventh annual Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday Party from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 4 at Todaro’s Party Center, 1820 Akron Peninsula Road.
Cost fot tickets is $60, and they can be purchased at the door.
DEERFIELD TWP: The Deerfield Historical Society will host An Afternoon with President and Mrs. Lincoln at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Deerfield Town Hall, 1450 state Route 225.
The doors will open at 2 p.m., with the program presented at 3 p.m. followed by a soup and salad dinner.
Presenters Gerald and Marilyn Payn will portray President Lincoln and Mary Todd Lincoln.
The Payns will portray the Lincolns in the period dress of when they attended the performance of Our American Cousin at Ford’s Theatre.
There will also be a display of Lincoln memorabilia, including needlework that would be similar to what Mrs. Lincoln would have done.
The cost is $10 per person.

CUYAHOGA FALLS: A Pre-Kindergarten Parent and Child iPad Class will be offered from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary School, 2859 Lillis Drive in Cuyahoga Falls.
The free class will explore age-appropriate iPad applications.
Ipads and snacks will be supplied for the class.
