The trustee for Fair Finance Co. is scheduled to give a monthly status report at 9:30 a.m. today in federal bankruptcy court in downtown Akron.
Among the items will be negotiations on turning over valuable artwork from Fair Finance co-owner Timothy Durham, an Indiana businessman, according to the report filed Monday. The trustee, Cleveland attorney Brian Bash, also reported he plans to retain an auctioneer to sell the artwork received from Durham.
The status report update is open to the public; Bash gave his previous reports via telephone conference in open court.
A hearing has also been scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on a motion from Fair Finance's counsel to withdraw from the case.
Bankruptcy court is in the John F. Seiberling Federal Building, 2 S. Main St., at Main and Market streets.
