Trustee appointed to NEOMED board

ROOTSTOWN TWP.: Gov. John Kasich has named Robert J. Klonk as a trustee for the Northeast Ohio Medical University.

Klonk is chief executive officer of the Oswald Companies, an independent, employee-owned insurance brokerage firm in Cleveland. Previous roles in the company were as president and chief sales officer.

He also was chairman of the Council of Employee Benefits Executives in Washington, D.C., for 2012-13.

The NEOMED board has 11 trustees who serve for nine-year terms. Klonk’s term will run until September 2022.
