Human-faced dog an online sensation
One of the biggest trending stories online today is that of Tonik, a poodle/Shih Tzu mix from Kentucky up for adoption.
The story isn't incredibly unique. Tonik was saved from a kill shelter and is now up for adoption. It's the dog appearance, first brought to light by Gawker, that is garnering headlines.
The dog's face strongly resembles a human, and may be a contender to knock Grumpy Cat from Internet pet meme supremacy.
