Budweiser Clydesdale ad tops among Super Bowl commercials
According to the USA Today Ad Meter, there was no more popular Super Bowl ad than the Budweiser commercial, "Brotherhood," featuring the company's famous Clydesdale horses.
Just what makes it such a good commercial? The story of a young horse reuniting with its owner after going pro as a deliverer of beer? Is it simply an allegory for the dependability the Budweiser brand? The perfect use of Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide?" It's probably so good because it's all of those things.
Good thing for Anheuser-Busch. Of the six Super Bowl commercials the company had, three were rated by Ad Meter among the game's five worst commercials.
