Have you heard about this place in California? When I saw the video, I was in awe of such a facility...errr, home for adoptable dogs and cats.
Situated on 12 acres just outside of Fresno, CA is a kitty kingdom. The entire area is safely fenced in and allows all its furry felines to roam at their whim. Folks can come adopt a new friend, but if a kitty never finds a family, they reside here until the day they die naturally.
Many people wonder how felines act when placed together in this kind of group atmosphere. Truth be told, many cats react well to socialization, unlike the common perception. This adoption center has a method of introducing the newcomers so they can keep close tabs on their adjustment. Once they've adjusted, they are free to roam wherever they like.
But that's not all. This facility also accept dogs. AND they roam around with the cats. AND they get along. Although they limit their numbers of pooches, it is an interesting combination that seems to work.
Hey, if it works, and pets are finding homes with this method, they are a-ok in my book. Check out this video, these folks are doing serious-good.
