LOGAN CO., Ohio -- Officials with the Logan County Humane Society said their investigation into the deaths of 14 dogs, some skinned and mutilated, may be connected with another dead dog case in Randolph County, Ind.
The 14 dead dogs were discovered late Monday in a Logan County creek by Humane Society employee Kyle Holcomb, who was looking for a place to fish.
On Wednesday morning, Humane Society officials in Randolph County, Ind., said they are investigating a similiar case involving a dead dog that had been tortured and multilated. Officials there said the dog was stabbed, shot, choked with bicycle chains and rocks were tied to its legs.
Randolph County officials are offering a $2,500 reward for any information about the case.
