TWINSBURG: The Twinsburg police force has a new, four-legged member: Yasso a 1-year-old male German Shepherd.

Officer Darrin Fate, a seven-year veteran of the department, just completed a six-week training course with Yasso.

Yasso was born in Germany and is trained in narcotics detection, tracking and building and area searches. The dog weighs 75 pounds and still has two more years of growing.

This will be the department's second K-9 team.
