CUYAHOGA FALLS: Summit County will sell 2010 dog licenses from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 30 at PetSmart, 355 Howe Ave.
The event will provide citizens with an opportunity to buy a license at the price of $14 each. Citizens who fail to license their dogs by the Feb. 1 deadline will be required to pay an additional $14 late fee.
State law requires citizens who own, keep or harbor a dog more than 3 months of age to purchase a county dog license on an annual basis. The funds generated from tags feed, house and vaccinate abandoned animals in need.
