Greyhound Rescue Fall Dog Walk and Costume Party

Please plan on dressing up your pooch and attending Freedom Greyhound Rescue’s 2nd Annual Fall Dog Walk and Costume Party held at Aurora Park & Recreation’s Family Fall Festival located at Sunny Lake Park in Aurora, Ohio (click link for map) on Saturday, October 10th, 2009.

The event features hayrides, petting zoo, demonstrations, rescue groups, crafters, refreshments, and more.

Festival hours are 11:00am – 6:00pm. Walk registration begins at 2:30 pm. The distance is approximately 2 miles on a paved path around Sunny Lake.

Registration: $3 per dog, $5 maximum. Dog games and costume judging immediately following the walk. Costume contest categories:

• Dogs
• Kids/Dogs combination
• Adult/Dogs combination
