Benefits from the fifth annual Hudson Wine Festival will go to PAWSibilities, Human Society of Greater Akron.
The Wine Festival has generated more than $60,000 for PAWSibilities since 2008 and more than 7,500 people attend each year.
This year's Wine Festival will feature more than 150 wines from local, national and international producers and select craft beers. The event also features music, food, various local artists and raffles.
PAWSibilities will also be hosting animal adoptions at the event.
“We are excited to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Hudson Wine Festival and continue our efforts to rescue and find homes for abandoned, neglected and injured animals in our area.” PAWSibilities executive director Karen Hackenberry said in a release.
The Hudson Wine Festival takes place from 4 to 9 p.m. on July 20 and 1 to 9 p.m. on July 21 along Village Way in the First and Main shopping district.
General admission tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. That includes a glass and 10 tasting tickets. There is also a general admission weekend pass that is $30 in advance and $35 at the door. It includes a glass and 10 tasting tickets per day.
Admission for those ages 7 to 20 is $5 and includes one soft drink. Children 7 and under get in free. Designated driver tickets will be sold on site for $10 and includes two soft drinks.
Additional tasting tickets are $1 each and full beer and wine pours range from $4 to $6.
