COLUMBUS, Ohio — A lawmaker wants to remove the state-mandated label of "vicious dog" from pit bulls.
Rep. Barbara Sears, R-Sylvania, has introduced a bill that would no longer define pit bulls as a vicious breed, 10TV's Kevin Landers reported.
"All we're saying it that a pit bull by its very nature is not a vicious dog," Sears said.
Sears' bill is welcomed by Lisa Dudley, who runs a rescue group for the breed.
