PAWS holding an adopt-a-thon Saturday in Mayfield Heights

The Public Animal Welfare Society of Ohio (PAWS) is hosting an adopt-a-thon Saturday with reduced rates on animal adoptions.

Booths will be up at the Mayfield Heights PetSmart (1521 Golden Gate Plaza) from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. to adopt cats, kittens, dogs and puppies. Adoptions include all shots and spaying/neutering. Adoption screeners will be on hand to approve adoptions so animals can be taken home the same day.

Adoption fees are $20 for cats over a year old and $40 for kittens under a year old. Dogs over six months are $150 and puppies under six months are $175.
