PAWS Ohio hosts 1st Annual “Operation Nip-Tuck”

By jim Published: July 20, 2011

A ground breaking movement is happening with a brand new project named Operation Nip-Tuck. For the past 6 or 7 years the Cleveland City Kennel has not been able to perform surgeries. The operating room was a disaster! Due to a collaborative effort, we are cleaning up the space and raising money for two new operating tables & anesthesia machines. Ceiling tiles are being pulled out and new put up….Stautzenberger students are painting the walls….five Veterinarians are donating their time….and Iams is donated a tremendous amount of food & gift bag items for this project.

On July 23, 2011 we are coming together to neuter 50-75 dogs at the renovated City of Cleveland Kennel….Operation Nip-Tuck! We will be targeting the 44105 area. If you know any friends, or family members that need to have their dog neutered in this area, pass this email along to them. Have you been procrastinating on getting your dog fixed? Call today to schedule an appointment….unneutered male dogs only….440-442-7297 (PAWS). Dogs will be completely vetted with all their shots….and will leave with a brand new collar!

We are also in need of volunteers who can help with admissions, discharges, post-op monitoring, gift bag distribution, and floaters to help where needed. For more information on this project or on PAWS Ohio, please visit www.pawsohio.org.
