My neighbor had a dog that came to her house were stunned on trying to figure out exactly what she is she looks pregnant and is either a pit,mix or boxer she is black with white running up her nose and white on her chest also some white on her feet if anyone has any information please call me asap she was found in kenmore and very well taken care of. 330-319-4059.

Can you provide a wonderful home for this loving little girl? Lexi is a beautiful, sleek short haired all black female who is a terrific mom. She has 2 babies and was a wonderful surrogate mom to a kitten who lost its mother.

Now that Lexi's babies are ready to fly the nest, she is ready for a furever home of her own. An extremely loving and affectionate cat, Lexi adores people. She has started to play and enjoy post-kitten life once again. Still in somewhat protective baby mode, Lexi is extremely cautious of other cats and dogs right now. With time, she will overcome this. Or, she can celebrate life as a single cat with a special purrrrrson or a family to adore only her!

Bob the Bobtail will steal your heart this Spring!

Bob the Bobtail is a handsome, gray tiger striped fellow. He weighs in at 8 pounds, and is estimated to be approximately two years old. A rare bobtail cat, Bob is a hardy little survivor. Found scavenging for food and living in a burned out old car, Bob was rescued by a PAWS volunteer who made him a little shelter out of a dog kennel and straw. He's patiently residing there, and eagerly awaits his furever home.

Liam and his dog Theo were a team doing a dangerous job-- searching out roadside bombs in Afghanistan. On Thursday, they were flown back to Britain in a somber repatriation ceremony for the soldier remembered for his empathy with animals.

Darby is a 10-year-old male Golden Retriever. He is gray around the muzzle with a white patch on his chest and small black spots on the skin of his belly. This sweetheart is Holley. Holley is a 4-yr-old mixed breed on the small to medium side of about 35lbs. Due to Holley's personality, natural abilities/traits and characteristics, we estimate Holley to be a Border Collie mix with maybe some black lab. Her Dad did have some black lab in him as well.

Scooby is a 5-yr-old German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever. Scooby has had a difficult life and is looking for his permanent home. He is loyal, highly intelligent, loves hiking, and sometimes forgets he's not a lap dog.

Scooby knows sit, stay, leave it, come, watch, down, drop it, back up, take it, has leash manners, and has continued to thrive with positive reinforcement training. He has become calm natured, very loving, soulful and really bonds with his people. He is a pleasant buddy to hang out with it. He loves being challenged to learn new things and toys...Did we mention he LOVES interactive toys! Interactive toys have helped learn how to problem solve and he is so proud of himself when he’s able to conquer a challenge.

Scooby’s highly intelligent and has developed a large vocabulary. He can tell the difference between many objects. For example, if you set up several different items he knows which is which and will seek out the one you ask him to touch or target. Can’t you just picture the fun you will have teaching him new words and showing off how smart he is!

Being outdoors and tracking scents is another one of his favorite things. He comes by it naturally. though the surgeries will keep him from formally competing, you and he will have hours of fun and bonding doing it casually. When he was medically released to take walks from his surgery, his foster family immediately recognized how he would follow scents. Wanting to give him all the enrichment they could, they purchased fox scent and he loves tracking it. He also tracks the scents their kitties leave around the farm.

PAWS (Public Animal Welfare Society) will be at the Mayfield Heights PetSmart on Saturday, March 12th from 11am to 4pm. The PetSmart in Mayfield’s Golden Gate Plaza will have a booth set up inside to adopt both cats/kittens and dogs/puppies. Screeners will be available for approving adoptions all day….so you can take your new pet home with you that same day. We need to make room in our foster homes for all the strays that are in the cold this winter. These loving animals in foster homes are in desperate need of their forever loving homes!

"Dusty" the cat is helping his owners return some of the loot he has stolen from his neighbors in a California suburb. He has taken hundreds of items over the past three years.

A cute white and gray girl, between 1-2 years of age, Twister was abandoned at a vet's office. We don't know what happened in her past but we do know that she has such a promising future. A very sweet little girl, Twister loves kisses and cuddling on laps.

Although Twister takes time to warm up, once she trusts you, she's yours. She really enjoys attention, is fine with one cat or dog, but would be best in a quieter home with someone to adore her.
