Portage APL hosting Valentine's adoption drive

To help celebrate the Valentine's holiday, the Portage APL is lowering adoption prices by $14 on Feb. 15 and 16.

Cat adoption prices are regularly $50 and dogs are $150. For the event, dubbed "My Furry Valentine," each animal will go home with a new pet bed.

"Valentine's Day celebrates love. THeese discarded, abused and homeless animals want ove so badly and deserve it," Portage APL executive director Chalan Lowry said in a release. 

Dogs and cats up for adtop are up to date on vaccines and are spayed or neutered. For more information on the Portage APL, call 330-296-4022.
