SOS Adoptee of the Day: Stryker!

By Amber Published: March 21, 2011

Breed:  Tuxedo (mix)
Age: 8 mos
Gender:  Male
Altered: Yes
Ref. no.: 110309

Stryker is such a sweet young man. He's about 8 mos old and showed up at one of our foster homes with an injury from a cat fight. SOS got him medical attention right away and now he is on his way to a full recovery. You can see the shaved spot on his back, that is were he was bit. The shaved spot on his leg is from his neuter surgery. He also has been vaccinated and had his rabbies shot. Stryker tested negative for FIV/FeLV and has been wormed. Stryker will make a wonderfeul addition to any family. He is not very playful but loves to be around people. Stryker is not an up in your face cat, however, he will lay next to you to watch TV. When you say "here kitty kitty" he comes running for attention. He is a little shy at first but comes around quickly. Stryker is also startled by noises easily and this probably comes from being dumped in a strange place and then being attacked by an animal. The longer he is here (foster home) the more he comes around and is just a GREAT cat. To apply for adoption, please fill out an on-line application at www.saveohiostrays.org. SOS offers a “TWICE AS NICE” program – adopt one cat that is fixed, wormed and utd on shots for only $75, and your second cat is no charge! Kittens always do better in pairs, and this is a great deal! SOS NEVER ships pets and will not adopt out to a driving radius greater than 3 hours from Medina, Ohio.
