SOS Adoptee of the Day: Zena!

By Amber Published: February 17, 2011

Breed:  American Bulldog - Pit Bull Terrier (mix)
Gender:  Female
Altered: Yes
Ref. no.: 100330M

Hi! My name is Zena. I am a two year old female weighing 50 pounds with dark brindle coloring and white patches. I am on-leash obedience trained. My trainer is offering a free session to someone who is interested in me. I am a very friendly dog. I have started on narcotics training and could also do therapy or service work. I love to play tug, and could be a great active family dog. Because I was attacked by another dog, I can be slightly defensive around strange dogs, but I have NO human aggression. With slow and proper introductions and good handler work, I can be great with other dogs. My foster home has three other male dogs, and I get along just fine with them! Actually, my foster mom and dad said they would love to keep me--I am that good---but they already have three dogs living with them. I am house broken, crate trained, and only chew on the toys you give me. I love to sit on laps and cuddle, too! I really am a love bucket! To apply for adoption, please fill out an on-line application at www.saveohiostrays.org.
