SOS Sunday!

By Carol Published: January 2, 2010

Look into those eyes… I already have three large dogs but if I could afford more dog food this guy would be coming home with me! Without meeting him personally, the impression this guy gives me is I am a hug-able, lovable dog.

Benny is a rescued dog currently with saveohiostrays.org (SOS). I adopted a Collie mix puppy from this rescue organization and they are very nice to work with.

Benny is a two-year-old and mix of Sheppard and Saint Bernard who is compatible with other dogs, cats and children. He is housebroken, crate trained, altered and up to date on shots. His adoption fee is $150.00.

Times are hard right now, especially for non-profits and pet owners alike. If you don’t think Benny is for you check out the smaller dogs and of course cats on saveohiostrays.org and Petfinder.com. Rescue groups always have wish lists and take food donations among other things.

Giving is the root of all happiness! One last thing, every Sunday at the Wadsworth Petco, SOS has a meet and great from 1:00 to 3:00. Check it out and if Benny is there give him a hug for me. If I go I know I won’t be able to stop myself…
