The latest craze to hit the cat show circuit – Feline Agility – is coming to the CFA Foundation’s Feline Historical Museum in Alliance, Ohio on October 2-6, 2012.

CIRCLEVILLE, OHIO: An Ohio woman says the pet cat that sneaked into her luggage for a flight to Florida has returned home safely and seems relatively unaffected by his surprise vacation in Orlando.

Ethel Maze tells The Circleville Herald that Bob-Bob the stowaway spent 10 hours in a suitcase before she opened it last week. She says he was lethargic and wet from perspiration, and she initially thought he'd died.

ORLANDO, FLA.: When an Ohio woman packed her bags for a Disney vacation, her cat didn’t want to stay behind.

Sometime Monday, Bob-bob the cat found his way into Ethel Maze’s suitcase, made it through screening at Port Columbus International Airport and was loaded into an airplane for a flight to Orlando.

The Orlando Sentinel reports the black cat popped out when Maze unzipped her bag after checking into her hotel Monday night. Maze, of Circleville, Ohio, says the 14-month-old cat was shaken but still purring.

Maze was part of a group of disabled veterans and volunteers making an annual trip to Orlando.

Mike Groleau, who handled the bags for the group, says he thought he saw the bag move, but loaded it along with the other bags heading to Orlando.

Found on Sunday, Sept. 9th medium-large male dog - resembles Brenese mountain dog. Mostly Brown with some black and white coloring. Wearing leather collar but no tags. He's very friendly but we won't be able to keep him long as we have two other dogs.

Please help us to find our missing St. Bernard "Murphy". He went missing on 9/5/12 new our home on E. Cleveland St. Delphos, Ohio. Murphy is very sweet and gentle. He is skittish around strangers and may be difficult to catch. He is very sweet and shy. He is not aggressive even though is a big dog (200 LBS). Found female Golden Retriever Mix in our backyard yesterday afternoon 9/5/12 in Springfield Township near Killian and Myersville. Very nice, well mannered, (old) female Pomeranian found near Northmoreland Ave in Monroe Falls OH on September 8, 2012 (early AM). Dog was found by a resident and turned into the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. Dog has no collar but appears to have just recently become lost. The dog's coat is maintained and it did not look like it has traveled too far.

The members of the Stow-Munroe Falls Lions Club are once again preparing for their SIXTH ANNUAL PAW FEST, scheduled for Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Stow, Ohio's Bow Wow Beach Dog Park and in cooperation with the City of Stow.

This year's event is being dedicated to the many service and assistance dog foundations who dutifully train various breeds to help and protect their owners each day.

The cat was found by workers at Smitty's Transmissions in suburban Rochester when a Connecticut couple bought in their car after dropping their son off at the Rochester Institute of Technology. The couple had heard the cat purring.
