This is Lola's story and "Oh What A Sweetheart".
She was taken into a local vets office by a person who said they found her in the road and she could not move her back legs. The vet took an x-ray and found that she had a severe spinal injury and would never walk without the help of a wheelchair, so, he made her a wheelchair. She gets around great and is just happy to be alive.
We rescued her and brought her home on February 8th and so far so good. We are in the process of getting her a Real Wheelchair from Eddies Wheels but they are about $350.00 each and she will have to get several of them because she will grow so quickly.
We will be taking Lola to Ohio State Veterinary College on February 22 to see their Neurologist and hopefully we will leave with good news. She was seen last week at Metropolitian Hospital and unfortunately there was nothing they could do for her.
We are beginning to rack up the medical bills and thanks to so many wonderful people who have donated, we are able to keep up with the expenses so far but we have a long way to go. So, we are asking that anyone who would like to help with Lola's medical expenses to please go to our website at www.pawswithpride.org and DONATE to Lola's Fund. Please help us because we are looking at many thousands dollars even before she becomes an adult. Thank you for your Support!
