PAWS Pet of the Week: Meet Georgia!

By millere80 Published: February 8, 2010

Sweet Georgia is a very smart kitty. One cold, late fall day, she deposited her 4 tiny kittens on the porch of an animal-loving elderly woman. The woman lives in a home that's falling apart around her and is in danger of eviction. Still, she provided a safe, loving place for Georgia and her babies. She brought them in and gave them warmth, full bellies and loving care until PAWS could step in to help.

Georgia's babies are all being adopted, and she is now spayed, healthy and ready for her forever home for the holidays. Georgia is a 5-7 year old, strikingly beautiful tortie cat. She adores humans and purrs and pleads for lots of attention.

Letter from Heaven

By jim Published: February 5, 2010

Hi, my name is Skye and if you are getting this letter, you probably knew me or knew of me in some way during my twelve years on earth. You may be one of the people I want to thank since you helped me medically as a vet or groomed me or just told me what a wonderful dog I was.

I was dropped off as a little pup at U-Bathe-M-Dog Wash in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. The people that put my two brothers, one sister, and me in a box also put a $10 roll of quarters in the box. I think we were suppose to call home if no one came and got us.
