SOFTBALL TOURNAMENTS• A men's USSSA Class D-E tournament will be played Saturday at Genshaft Park in Massillon. Teams will be guaranteed three games. Entry fee is $150. For information, contact Gary at 330-359-6456 or 330-231-2463.
• A men's ASA Class D tournament will be played Sunday at Genshaft Park in Massillon. Entry fee is $100, and teams will play four games. For information, call 330-844-1922.

CHARITY GOLF EVENT• The Dunkin Brands Community Foundation will host a charity golf tournament June 30 at Firestone Country Club (South Course) to benefit Second Harvest Food Banks of Northeast Ohio. Tee times begin at 11:30 a.m. Cost of $500 per golfer covers greens fees, a box lunch, dinner and an awards reception. Events include a putting contest, $1 million shot, $100,000 shootout, hole-in-one contests, longest drive and other contests and prizes. /> VOLLEYBALL CAMP• The University of Akron's volleyball program will host a two-day summer camp July 11-12 and a team camp/high school tournament July 13. The camp is open to girls entering grades 6-12 with a cost of $75 for each skills clinic. Cost of the high school tournament is $25 per player, and teams are guaranteed four games. The summer camp will include setting 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., attacking (noon to 2:30 p.m.) and defense (3 to 5:30 p.m.) For more information, call UA assistant coach Cass Dixon at330-972-7438.
