BASEBALL TOURNAMENT• Cuyahoga Falls Little League South is hosting a coach-pitch tournament for 7- and 8-year-olds July 18-20 at Trails End Park. Entry fee of $150 per team guarantees three games. Information: 330-608-1940.
COACHING VACANCIES• Kenmore High School is accepting applications for varsity boys soccer coach. Information: Athletic Director Frank Archual at 330-785-3961.
• St. Vincent-St. Mary High School is accepting applications for varsity baseball coach. VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT• The Akron Recreation Bureau will host its Summer Volleybash tournament at 10 a.m. July 11 at Hardesty Park in West Akron. All players must be in the high school graduating class of 2008 or younger. Girls, boys and mixed divisions are available with entry costs ranging from $20 to $40 per team ($10 per player). CHARITY GOLF OUTING• The annual Pedal-with-Pete Foundation charity golf outing will be Aug. 2 at Fox Den Golf Course in Stow. The foundation raises money for research to improve the quality of life for people with cerebral palsy. Entry fee of $70 per golfer covers golf, lunch, steak or chicken dinner and all beverages.
