Holes-in-One
• George Carter, of Bedford Heights, aced the 140 yard 9th hole at Brandywine Golf Course in Peninsula. Carter used a 11 wood. • Gary Bogue of Akron aced the 167-yard, ninth hole at Ohio Prestwick Country Club, using a 5-iron. It was his first hole-in-one.
• Justin Castaldi aced the 142-yard fourth hole at Sunny Hill for his first hole-in-one. He used a wedge.
• Dalton Chaney aced the 25th hole at River Greens Golf Club.
• Dan Kieffer aced the seventh hole at River Greens Golf Club.
• Bill Liska of Akron shot a hole-in-one on the 126-yard 17th hole at Roses Run Country Club. He used an 8-iron.
• Dan Stanek, a resident of Berea, scored a hole-on-one on 105-yard hole 12 at Pine Valley Golf Club with his pitching wedge. Stanek shot an 82 for his round.
• Jeff Vandenhaute of Strongsville aced the 17th hole at Valleaire Golf Club. He used a 9-iron on the 134-yard hole.
