Holes-in-One

Wally Archibald of Barberton aced the 135-yard seventh hole at Spring Hills Golf Club using an 8-iron.
Jeff Ball of Cuyahoga Falls aced the 190-yard sixth hole at Maplecrest Golf Course. He used a 4-iron and shot a score of 75 for the round.
• Woodridge High School's Austin Bettio aced the 140-yard ninth hole at Brandywine Country Club using a 6-iron. He shot a 48 for the round.
• Akron's Pat Brady aced the 175-yard ninth hole at Barberton Brookside Country Club. He used an 6-iron and turned in a score of 37.
Mickey Burley of Clinton aced the 128-yard seventh hole at Barberton Brookside Country Club using a pitching wedge.
Tom Cranston of Wadsworth made a hole-in-one on the 150-yard fourth hole at Spring Hills Golf Club using a 5-wood.
• Akron's Bud DeBruin aced the 182-yard 13th hole at Maplecrest Golf Course. He used a 5-iron.
Dan Gentsch of Revere High School aced the 180-yard ninth hole while playing the Quail Hollow Invitational. He used a 4-iron.
Larry Keating of North Royalton used a driver to ace the 241-yard eighth hole at Maplecrest Golf Course. He turned in a score of 85.
In Soon Kim of Ann Arbor, Mich. aced the 129-yard ninth hole at Barberton Brookside Country Club. She used a 5-wood.
Ralph Krueger of North Olmsted aced the 173-yard ninth hole at Valleayre Golf Course in Hinckley. He used a 7-wood.
Howard Shoup of Rittman aced the 100-yard second hole on the North Course at The Legends of Massillon. It was his third career hole-in-one. He used an 8-iron and finished with a score of 97.
• At Sycamore Valley Golf Course, Rodney Thacker of Akron aced the 120-yard third hole. He used an 8-iron and scored a 35.
Nick Nikols of Fairlawn scored a hole-in-one on Good Park's 187-yard sixth hole. Nikols used a 3-iron. This was his first.
Ricky Rockford of Massillon shot a hole in one on the ninth hole at Brandywine Country Club. He used a 3-iron.
Josh McKinney of Scioto used a 120 degree pitching wedge to ace the seventh hole at Barberton Brookside Country Club. This was his first hole-in-one.
