Medina at Wadsworth Wadsworth Wadsworth Wadsworth
Canton South at Ravenna South South Ravenna
Ellet at Wooster Wooster Wooster Wooster
Firestone at Tallmadge Tallmadge Tallmadge Tallmadge
Notes: Firestone will be hungry for a win. The Falcons lost to Tallmadge in the regular season last year and in the first round of the Division II playoffs. The Blue Devils defeated Ellet 45-7 last week as senior running back Tyler Fortner rushed for 211 yards and two touchdowns. Firestone's challenge will be playing physical on defense.
GlenOak at Green GlenOak Green GlenOak
Notes: This should be a nice Suburban League/Federal League matchup, with GlenOak off to a fast 2-0 start. Green (1-1) lost to Lake (2-0) in the season opener but rebounded with a 54-0 win last week against Springfield. Justin James rushed for 215 yards and three touchdowns.

Parma Normandy at Massillon Massillon Massillon Massillon
Lorain Southview at Cloverleaf Cloverleaf Cloverleaf Cloverleaf
Mogadore at Norton Mogadore Mogadore Mogadore
Orrville at Copley Orrville Orrville Orrville
Notes: The host Indians (1-1) can't wait to go home. Copley will be playing for the first time on the school's new artificial turf. The Red Riders handled Triway last week as Thirajn Pittman rushed for two touchdowns and quarterback Joe Besancon threw two touchdown passes.
Revere at Springfield Revere Revere Revere
Smithville at Coventry Smithville Smithville Coventry
Aurora at Twinsburg Aurora Aurora Aurora
Barberton at Kent Roosevelt Barberton Roosevelt Barberton
Brunswick at Brecksville Brunswick Brunswick Brunswick
Garfield at St. Vincent-St. Mary St. V-M St. V-M St. V-M
Notes: This is somewhat of a backyard rivalry. The Fighting Irish are playing well now with running back Harvie Tuck IV and an experienced, quick and physical defense. The concern will be at quarterback; Vince Pellini separated his shoulder in a win at Clear Fork last week. Garfield's Tyson Gulley rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns in a 19-16 win against Copley.
Jackson at Hudson Jackson Jackson Jackson
Lake at Canton McKinley Lake Lake Lake
Notes: The Bulldogs (0-2) are still searching for their first win and Lake (2-0) will definitely be a stiff challenge. The Blue Streaks rolled past Lucas (Ont.) 53-7 last week and McKinley, playing in the Kirk Herbstreit Classic, lost to Cathedral (Ind.).
Louisville at Archbishop Hoban Hoban Hoban Hoban
Notes: Both teams are coming off impressive wins. Louisville (2-0) shut out North Canton Hoover 22-0 to take the No. 1 spot in the weekly Beacon Journal poll, while Hoban (2-0) defeated Walsh Jesuit 38-21. Hoban's offense, led by quarterback Josh Masters, running back Laymon Carter III and tight end Brian Slack consistently came up with big plays, along with the defense.
Manchester at Black River Manchester Manchester Manchester
Nordonia at Kenston Nordonia Nordonia Nordonia
North at Stow North Stow North
Notes: The Vikings are off to a 2-0 start after a 25-13 win last week against Cuyahoga Falls. Davon Coman threw two touchdown passes and ran for one. North's offense will face a strong Stow defense that held Kent Roosevelt to 128 total yards of offense in a 14-0 win last week.
