BASEBALL TRAINING• Canton South High School will host a six-week Spring Training 2009 baseball program for players in grades 1-12. Sessions will be Jan. 11 to Feb. 15 under the direction of Canton South varsity coach Phil Forshey with Midwest Baseball Academy. SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT• The USSSA Northern Fall State Tournament will be played Oct. 25 at Butler-Rodman Park in Alliance for men's Class D&E teams. Entry cost for the double-elimination event is $150 plus sanction fee. Information: 330-823-2008 or 330-688-2323.
