Zips basketball TV schedule announced

The University of Akron basketball team has announced time changes and television schedules for five games. Two women's games also are involved.

It starts this Saturday at Bowling Green with a move from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. so the game can be shown on ESPNU.

Other changes:

Jan. 24 against Kent State: Noon, FSN. The UA women play Ball State at 2:30, also on FSN.

Jan. 31 against Central Michigan: Noon, FSN. The UA women play Toledo at 2:30 p.m., also on FSN.

March 1 against Bowling Green: Noon, FSN.

March 8 at Kent State: Noon, FSN.

Great. All those millions in broadcast rights!!! That won't even pay for the toilet paper in all the arena's bathroom facilities! College athletics are the greatest sham put on the American people. It's a major part of why our education system is no longer ranked in the world's top 10.
