CALENDAR
• Saturday — The Bolivar Sportsman's Club, 11286 Bolivar-Strasburg Road NW, Bolivar, will hold a pig roast. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at the door. The event begins at 6 p.m. Call: 330-874-3175.
• Dec. 10 — The Goodyear Hunting & Fishing Club, 1221 Wingfoot Lake Road, Suffield Township, holds its meetings the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. New members are welcome. Contact: Bob Schilling, 330-882-4939.
• Dec. 20 — The Portage-Summit Field & Stream Club, 8504 U.S. 224, Deerfield Township, holds its monthly meeting on the third Sunday of each month at 2 p.m. The meetings are open to the public and to those interested in becoming a member. • Today — The Bolivar Sportsman's Club, 11286 Bolivar-Strasburg Road NW, Bolivar, hosts open trap shoots every Friday at 6:30 p.m. Information: 330-874-3175.
• Saturday — The Copley Trap Range, 1665 Jacoby Road, Copley Township, has Saturday shoots from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All shooters are welcome. Instruction is available. Contact: Brad Harker at 330-855-1174 or Harvey Bechtel at 330-620-6909.
• Sunday — The Streetsboro Sportsman Association is sponsoring Sunday turkey shoots. The 10 a.m. shoots are at the club on Nicodemus Road, off state Route 44, one mile south of state Route 303. The hole closest to target center will establish the winner for each round. Shooters compete for cash, meat and miscellaneous prizes. Refreshments are available. • Sunday — The Greensburg Lions Club turkey shoot will be held every Sunday until March. There will be prizes of meat and cash. Sign-up starts at 10:30 a.m. Shoots begin at 11:30 a.m. Shoots are held at Greensburg Lions Park, 4200 Cottage Grove Road, Green. Contact: Rich Johnson at 330-604-0387.
• Sunday — The Amvets Post 176, 3944 Wheatley Road, Richfield Township, will hold turkey shoots each Sunday in November. Sign-up at 8 a.m. Shoots begin at 10 a.m. Prizes include ham, bacon and turkey. Breakfast is served from 7 to 11 a.m. Information: 330-659-3924.
• Sunday — The Lodi Bird Club will host shoots that begin at 10 a.m. Located on Franchester Road, two miles south of Lodi, the club will supply shells for factory guns only. Shoots are on Sundays through Dec. 13. Prizes available. Information: 330-948-1295.
• Sunday — The North Lawrence Fish & Game Club, 15325 Lawmont St., North Lawrence, will host turkey shoots every Sunday through Dec. 27. Doors open at 8 a.m., registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Breakfast is available. Call: Frank Burkett at 330-837-2008.
