• Wittenberg senior Carrie Dyer (Copley) was named to the all-tournament team at the Hope Tip-Off Tournament in Holland, Mich. Dyer had 14 points and 11 rebounds in a victory over Robert Morris University, then followed with 13 points and 13 rebounds in a loss to the nation's third-ranked Division III team, Hope College.
• Hiram College junior wide receiver and quarterback Glenn Campbell (Buchtel) was named to the All-North Coast League team. He led the team in scoring with five touchdowns (one rushing and four receiving).
• Ohio Northern University junior midfielder Ian Warmbrodt (Copley), Baldwin-Wallace senior goalkeeper Russ Mika (Medina) and junior midfielder Jeff Grater (Stow) were named to the Ohio Athletic Conference All-Academic team. Earning honorable mention were John Carroll sophomore defender Jake Milli (Walsh Jesuit) and Ohio Northern's Dustin Connor (Cloverleaf).
• Bethany sophomore offensive lineman Cory Potter (Green) and freshman linebacker Kyle Arrington (Jackson) were voted to the All-Presidents' Athletic Conference teams. Potter started all 10 games, playing at right tackle and later at right guard, was named to the second team. Arrington was honorable mention.
• Malone junior outside hitter Jennifer Gahagan (Southeast) was named first-team All-American Mideast Conference for the third consecutive season. Junior outside hitter Lori Ickes (Smithville) was named to the second team and senior middle hitter Kristen Schoolcraft (Canton McKinley) earned honorable mention.
• Four Malone University soccer players, freshman forward Samuel Erchick (Alliance), freshman midfielder Alex Hall (Massillon), freshman midfielder Allen Meffan (Lake) and sophomore defender Jordan Smith (St. Thomas Aquinas) earned honorable mention honors in the National Christian College Athletic Association East Region.
