Junior Leah Oldfield scored 14 points and Our Lady of the Elms (11-4) battled back from a first-half deficit for a 48-42 win over visiting Lake Ridge Academy.
The Panthers (11-4) were down 14-10 after the first quarter but outscored the Lions 10-4 in the second quarter to take a 20-18 halftime lead. The Panthers took control of the game in the second half and outscored the Lions 28-24 to hold on for the win.
''We controlled the second half,'' Panthers coach Heather Giel said. ''We ran the floor, got fast-break points and had great ball movement. Our patience on offense was also a huge key tonight.''
The Lions made a late run and got to within four points with 19 seconds left, but Tessa Haneline made two free throws in the final seconds to put away the game.
Sophomore Kaitlin Morse and senior Morgan Murray each scored 10 points for the Panthers.

Buchtel 59, Garfield 48 Visiting Buchtel used a shutdown defense in the fourth quarter to end a Garfield run to hold on for the City Series win.
The Golden Rams were down 37-24 at halftime and trailed by as many as 15 points in the third quarter but cut the deficit to four. The Griffins' defense, led by Charnae Coleman and Cherlynn Maddox, stepped up and shut down the Garfield comeback with clutch steals and defense.
Maddox led the Griffins with 18 points and five rebounds, and Coleman added 16 points.
Firestone 75, East 28 Junior Imani Gordon scored 24 points as host Firestone (15-1, 11-0) defeated East in a City Series game.
Sophomore Shaia Horton scored 18 points, and junior Senicia Reid added 13 for the Falcons.
Kenmore 78, North 36 Freshman Porshae Hearn's 21 points and 11 rebounds led the host Cardinals over the Vikings in a City Series game. Markayla Powers scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Vikings.
Wrestling
Wadsworth 79, Cloverleaf 0 Heavyweight Ben Buzzelli pinned Mike King in 4:50, and the host Grizzlies (15-0, 7-0 Suburban) easily defeated the Colts.
Caleb Busson (189 pounds), Bart Randolph (171) and Brad Squire (145) each won by pin. Nick Tavanello (189) won by a 10-2 major decision and Sheldon Brandenburg (160) won by a 15-3 major decision.
Copley 57, Tallmadge 21 Ben Soltis, Zack Walker, Jason Tomayko, Jon Marshall, Jon Garrison and Josh Tomayko each won by pin to lead the Indians over the Blue Devils.
