Arenas, or 'Agent Zero,' switches uniform number

Goodbye, ''Agent Zero.'' Gilbert Arenas is switching his uniform number.

The suspended guard submitted paperwork to go from No. 0 to No. 6, and the NBA approved the change, league spokesman Tim Frank confirmed in an e-mail to the Associated Press on Thursday.

Arenas has worn zero since college, picking that number because that's how many minutes people expected him to play at Arizona.

Last Friday was the deadline for NBA players to file paperwork seeking a new number. Cavaliers star LeBron James asked to switch from No. 23 to No. 6 next season.

Arenas received a season-ending suspension for bringing guns to the locker room. He pleaded guilty to felony gun possession in January and is scheduled to be sentenced March 26.

WRIGHT GETS DUI — Miami Beach police say Heat forward Dorell Wright has been charged with DUI and driving with a suspended license. Wright was stopped around 3:30 a.m. Thursday, then booked. Bond was set at $1,000.

In a statement, the Heat said they were ''aware of the traffic stop'' and declined to comment until they could learn more about the incident. Wright did not return a message left on his cell phone.

Wright is averaging 6.3 points in 57 games this season for the Heat. The team was off Thursday and hosts the Chicago Bulls tonight.

BEASLEY QUESTIONABLE — Heat forward Michael Beasley has a bruised left thigh and is listed as a game-time decision for Miami's game tonight.

Beasley is Miami's second-leading scorer behind Dwyane Wade, averaging 15.3 points. He got hit in the thigh in the third quarter of Wednesday's victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Entering Thursday's games, Miami held the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference playoff race, barely ahead of No. 9 Chicago.
