He had a goal and an assist in a 2-1 victory over No. 25 Illinois-Chicago on Thursday, and followed with a goal in the Zips' 4-0 win at St. Francis (Pa.) on Sunday. Britni Back, co-player of the week in women's soccer, was responsible for both UA goals as the Zips beat Cleveland State and Eastern Kentucky by 1-0 scores. She has scored in four consecutive matches and leads the team with 13 points.

Thiel College freshman midfielder Chad Swisher (Alliance) was named to the all-tournament squad as the Tomcats participated at the Penn State Altoona Tournament over the weekend.

Ashland senior Chelsey Guerin (Massillon) was named Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's tennis player of the week.
