The visiting Aeros scored two runs in the top of the ninth to break a 2-2 tie and went on to defeat Bowie 4-2 on Monday night.
With two outs in the top of the ninth, Matt Lawson reached on an error before Cleveland Indians top prospect Francisco Lindor doubled him in.
Lindor advanced to third base on a Baysox (51-50) error and scored on a balk.
Lindor finished 3-for-4 with two singles, a double, a walk, an RBI and two runs scored. He was caught stealing twice and committed a throwing error.
Cedric Hunter and Jesus Aguilar each picked up two hits for Akron, each with a double. Aguilar added an RBI.
Carlos Moncrief reached three times with a double, two walks and a run.
Will Roberts started for the Aeros (51-51), allowing two runs in 5⅔ innings.
Austin Adams (1-1) picked up the win in a perfect inning of relief and Trey Haley earned his fifth save with a 1-2-3 ninth.
