Aeros designated hitter Nick Weglarz and first baseman Adam Abraham hit back-to-back solo homers in the top of the seventh inning before the game was called after a rain delay in Reading, Pa.
Weglarz also walked with the bases loaded to drive in a run as part of a three-run first inning.
Left fielder Jared Goedert had two hits and scored twice, and shortstop Juan Diaz had two hits, drove in one run and scored another.
Center fielder Tim Fedroff led off the game with a walk and later scored on a single by catcher Chun-Hsiu Chen and tripled in the second inning and scored on a single by Diaz.
Giovanni Soto (2-0, 5.02) pitched 5⅓ innings, gave up four runs, three earned, six hits, no walks and struck out six to pick up the win.
Matt Langwell (0-0, 1.35) recorded his second save by pitching two-thirds of an inning and striking out one.
Langwellarrived in the sixth and struck out Sebastian Valle, who subsequently argued the call and was thrown out of the game.
The Aeros’ Eric Berger (0-2, 8.00) pitches against the Phillies’ Tyler Cloyd (2-0, 3.75) in the final game of the series at 1:35 today in Reading.
