Stephen Wright (2-4, 5.98) struggled, giving up five earned runs on seven hits with two walks and three strikeouts in five innings as the Aeros’ three-game winning streak ended in the final game of the season at Metro Bank Park in Harrisburg, Pa.
The Aeros’ runs came on Donnie Webb’s RBI single to drive in Karexon Sanchez in the fifth inning. Juan Apodaca’s single in the ninth drove in Kyle Bellow.
Carlos Martinez (3-4, 5.34), who replaced Senators starter Oliver Perez in the fifth inning, got the win, giving up one run and five hits in three innings.
Harrisburg scored its runs on Derek Norris’ solo home run in the first, Chris McConnell’s RBI double and a single by Erik Komatsu that drove in two more runs in the third. The final run was Tim Pahuta’s sacrifice fly in the fifth.
The Aeros finished the season in fourth place with a record of 73-69, seven games behind the first place Senators.
