Banquet is May 19
for Browns Backers
Tickets are still available for the 28th annual Akron Browns Backers Banquet May 19 at Tangier restaurant.
Among those expected to attend are players Derek Anderson and Phil Dawson, coach Romeo Crennel and assistant coaches Rip Scherer, Ted Daisher and Anthony Lynn. Alumni include Don Cockroft, Kevin Mack, Dick Ambrose, Tom Cousineau, Bob Gain, Earnie Kellermann, Reggie Langhorne, Dante Lavelli, Cleo Miller, Rich Mostardi and Frank Stams. Jim Mueller will be master of ceremonies.
