LSU defensive end Barkevious Mingo

How he did it: Mingo, 6-foot-4 and 241 pounds, had a great day during drills at Lucas Oil Stadium. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.58 seconds, good enough for second at his position, tied for second in the vertical jump by hitting 37 inches and tied for first in the broad jump with a leap of 10 feet, 8 inches.

“I think my speed separates me from every other guy in this draft,” Mingo said. “I’m a fast guy and I’ve got a quick first step and I like getting to the quarterback.”
