Browns kick returner Josh Cribbs had the opportunity to meet one of his favorite actors Thursday when Will Smith spent a few hours in Cleveland promoting his new movie Seven Pounds.
''He's down to earth, basically like he acted on his show, real comical,'' Cribbs said of Smith. ''You expect him to be a different person totally. [But] he was so warm. He was giving autographs and security was trying to stop him, [but] he was still doing it on his way out. It's nice to see a successful person who's that way in person.''
In addition to Cribbs and some other members of the team, Cavaliers forward LeBron James also watched the preview showing.
''I was chilling with LeBron a little bit,'' said Cribbs, who enjoyed the movie about a man who helps seven strangers after tragedy hits his life with some teammates. ''It was really good. A lot of people were crying. [Not me], but [tight end Martin] Rucker was, though. I had to send some tissue down there to him.''
Injury report
Running back Jerome Harrison (hamstring) participated in limited practice Friday. ''I might try to fly today. It depends on how the wings feel,'' he said. . . . Safety Sean Jones said he will be a game-time decision Sunday after rolling his ankle while blocking on Andra Davis' interception Monday. . . . Tight end Kellen Winslow said he is ready to play this weekend despite nursing a sore right shoulder injured Monday.
