Who stood out: Cornerback Joe Haden. He intercepted a pass from rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden that was intended for wide receiver Josh Cribbs in an 11-on-11 drill, and he picked off a pass from quarterback Seneca Wallace after it deflected off the hands of undrafted rookie wide receiver Josh Cooper in a seven-on-seven session. Haden also had at least two more broken-up passes against Weeden.
Highs and lows: In a seven-on-seven drill, wide receiver Greg Little jumped and hauled in a pass of about 35 yards from Weeden, despite coverage from cornerback James Dockery. Little’s highlight grab prompted cheers from the crowd. … Tight end Evan Moore also leaped to catch a pass from Weeden in an 11-on-11 session. … Rookie defensive tackle John Hughes batted down a pass from quarterback Colt McCoy in an 11-on-11 drill. … Moore was called for a false start in an 11-on-11 drill. … Undrafted rookie free safety Tashaun Gipson intercepted a pass McCoy intended for Cooper in 11-on-11 action. … The Browns said 2,913 fans attended practice.
