LeBron says the play was a rare event, even beating Z's 3-pointer

CLEVELAND: Much has been made about center Zydrunas Ilgauskas' 3-point shot against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night, but that's not the play that got the Cavaliers excited, LeBron James said Friday.
At one point during the game, Wally Szczerbiak drove the baseline and dunked with two Bulls coming right at him. When asked whether he liked Z's shot or the dunk better, James didn't hesitate.
''Wally's dunk. That was a no-brainer. A no-brainer,'' he said.
It's not something Szczerbiak does often.
''We don't see Z shoot 3-pointers as often either, but we see him shoot jumpers. We don't see Wally dunk the ball, so we got pretty excited,'' James said.
Look at the Pacers
The names and faces have changed since Cavs coach Mike Brown left the Indianapolis Pacers, with whom he served as an assistant coach. But the Pacers remain a dangerous team due to their style of play.
''For us, we're trying to run more this year because we have quick guards,'' Brown said. ''At times, because we're not used to playing that way, [we] are sloppy, and it turns into a rat race. And if this game turns into a rat race, the Pacers are going to win.''
Granger rises
With Jermaine O'Neal gone from the Pacers, they needed someone to pick up the slack caused by his absence.
Enter Danny Granger. In his fourth year, Granger's numbers have improved significantly over the course of each season. Coming into Friday's game, he was averaging 25.3 points.
''He's become their go-to guy with the departure of Jermaine O'Neal and Steven Jackson. I think he's started to grow and gain more confidence,'' James said. ''He's going to become one of the best (forwards) in this league and one of the best players if he continues to work. He's a guy we need to key on tonight knowing he's their No. 1 option.''
Big Bad Ben
In recent games, it has looked as if the Cavaliers are the beneficiaries of Ben Wallace circa the 2003-04 season, at least in respect to defense and rebounding. His scoring has been nonexistent, but that's not what the Cavs need him to do. Because of his rebounding, Wallace joined Dennis Rodman as the only player to have back-to-back games with at least 13 rebounds and no points. Rodman did it for the San Antonio Spurs, Nov. 10-12, 1993.
